Two million dollars have been added to the bank account of one lucky man in Washington State. Lopez, 39, hit a record-breaking jackpot at Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, WA, while playing real money slots.
The jackpot was greater than double the previous state record for a slot machine jackpot in Washington. Despite the win being taxed to the tune of a quarter of the winnings, the win still broke the previous record. Despite previous big wins at Tulalip, this is by far Lopez’s biggest.
During a game of Gold Charms, Lopez won the jackpot. As it turns out, the Golden Charm is a lucky charm, since the previous record was also won on a machine of the same type. It was set early in 2020 when Washington State’s previous record was set. It is an impressive jackpot, but it still falls miles short of the 2003 national record.

A Historic Win
It was during the annual Tulalip casino convention, that history was made. The casino’s jackpot reached a record level on March 20th when Jose Lopez hit the huge jackpot. A winning pull was made at Golden Charms shortly after midnight when Lopez was playing. A $5 pull won him the jackpot.
A total of nearly $2.37 million was won by Lopez.
